Oh well !! He gave it a good shot, and he deserved a bit better with his approach to the 18th but he probably knows better than most that is GOLF !! Tom Watson we salute you,you are golfing royalty and always will be.
The worst part of the weekend was losing a fiver to Higgy,he had Westwood and i chose Fisher,handing over money to him is just a nightmare.I’m sure the first Englishamn to win a major since Faldo will be between those two.
So there we were coming down the 18th in the first round of the Club Championship on saturday when Higgy blurts out i need a par to shoot a Ton,i said why dont you birdie it to shoot 99,he than did just that, i bogeyed it for a 73 and he then mentioned something about a 50p oozler for the best gross on the 18th the muppet !!
Higgy is a 17,and when i only have 1 round left i want it to be with him.Luckily for me i shot par in the second round for a 144 total and won by a shot,happy days !!
